Ever wonder when you invest in a great piece of jewelry if you are also getting a good value for your money?
I ripped this out of InStyle magazine... the bracelet is EXACTLY like one I would make! It is made by a certain high-end designer for a certain store on Fifth Avenue in NYC (changing names to protect the innocent)... and considering I just saw this, I wonder where the designer got HIS idea from??
Anyway... notice the price? $2465.00!! I'd make the same thing for 1/12th the price.

Y'know, whenever people ask me if I make earrings, I tell them that I don't usually because when you are dealing with natural stones, it's hard to make two duplicate pieces that would become a matching earring set.
These ammonites, however, are split down the middle creating two duplicate halves (like yin and yang) which make them perfect as earrings!
These I made for myself (something I rarely do) but I will do this again for anyone that would like a pair!

It's the holiday season and I'm feeling all nostalgic... so I'll tell everyone how I became so enthralled with jewelry... when I was growing up in Buffalo we would fly to NYC for day shopping trips, and my parents wouldn't let me go into Tiffany's until I was 18 saying "you can't appreciate it until you get older," so when I could finally enter "Mecca" the slingshot was pulled so tight catapulting me towards jewelry that there was no going back!
I dedicate my company to my parents Charles and Marilyn Lewis

Custom-made bracelet for Xinia Marin of Costa Rica

Xinia saw stones similar to these in a dream she had... so her husband Peter King commissioned me to make this for her... a week and a half before Christmas! So.... after 3 mornings of getting up at 3am before work I finally finished it.
I consider it such an honor to have artists of Xinia's and Peter's stature like my work... I would have done anything for them!
I have the link to their website here under my favorites... they are truly the most talented artistic team in Pensacola!
